4th Grade: Fantastic Fungus
Course Description
Let's take a journey into the world of the fantastic fungus known as the morel mushroom. Once we lace up our hiking boots we will head into the deep woods of Northern Michigan to learn about this mushroom. Next, we will head on down to the festivities down at Boyne City's Morel Festival. Once we have become experts on the Morel we will create an ePub book of this elusive mushroom.

W.4.10 Write routinely over extended time frames (time for research, reflection, and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and audiences.
