Course Description

Let's take a journey together into the wondrous world of poetry. Through apps, books, podcasts, and videos we will learn about great poets and how to write poetry. After we immerse ourselves in award-winning literature, we will become published authors with our own book of poetry.

"Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be."
– Shel Silverstein

Read with an open mind, write from your heart...
~Mrs.Wildman
